Performing 8pm  Thursday 22nd July - Saturday 24th July 

He, looking for a moment of respite from the mad people at the ball in the lunatic asylum, finds a quiet spot for a sleep. She, escaping from the insane ramblings of her dance partners finds a quiet spot for a few moments to herself. When they realise someone else is in the room each bevies the other to be one of the inmates, and possibly dangerous.

What is Gearstick?

 

Gearstick Theatre

Gearstick Theatre is a Wagga based Not-for-Profit Organisation dedicated to creating professional theatre for regional audiences. Founded in 2002 by Michelle Gaul and Craig Higgs, Gearstick began as a touring Theatre Co-operative of Graduates from the Acting and Design Courses at Charles Sturt University, Wagga.

Since its inception Gearstick has; created over twenty productions, secured funding from Local and State Government and the Private Sector, developed a solid audience base in a variety of demographics and is beginning to develop a profile in the national arts community as a leading provider of professional theatre in Regional Australia.

With a particular focus on the creation of new work and an eclectic blend of productions including; contemporary plays, self-devised pieces, Shakespeare, adaptations, children’s theatre, storytelling and street theatre - Gearstick has performed in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and throughout Regional NSW.
